I went to the gym this evening. I decided on a different approach, rather than sitting on the cross trainer. As I said, I get on the thing and can’t get off. So, instead, I went on the rowing machine, did some weights and then went on the cross trainer. This wasn’t a great success. By the time I got on the cross trainer I was already depleted of energy.
My plan is to set, maybe 100, 150, 200 calories. Then as I get into this, if I feel I can push on then I turn the target up. I started at 100 calories and reasoned I would make 200 calories with ease. The 100 was more than enough and I was glad to see completion. This is the results.
| Exercise | Level | Reps |
| Rowing machine | 10 | 119 calories 10:05 |
| Leg press | 110 Kg | 3 sets of 10 reps |
| Assisted pull up | 45 Kg ( 30 Kg ) | 3 sets of 10 reps |
| Triceps extension | 45 Kg ( 30 Kg ) | 3 sets of 10 reps |
| Low row | 55 set | 2 sets of 10 reps |
| Low row | 50 set | 10 reps |
| cross trainer | 12 | 100 calories 13:54 |
The tech clocked 596 calories burnt in 1:37:57. Not a disrespectful result really.
