Saturday blast

Two parts to this.

Clothing

I encountered problems on Wednesday where I was getting cold in the legs. So I decided to go into town and find some long trousers. This didn’t exactly go to plan. In Sports Direct I discovered a brand called “Under Armour”, and really like it. So, as a result I ended up with –

  • Trousers x2
  • Shorts x1
  • Tee shirts x 3
  • Long sleeved compression top x 1
  • Hoodie x 1

Some £200 later turned out to be an expensive, but satisfying venture.

Hit the gym

Wearing some of the new kit I set out to the gym at 2200, with an unrealistic target, to burn 1000 calories. It didn’t happen, but I got close, and I was very please to discover I had recovered form from Wednesdays disaster.

So, to explain. At 22:15 there was one other person in the weights area. I took the opportunity to look at the free weights. Lowest weight dumbbells are 2.5 Kg. The heaviest is 60 Kg, that I could see. I didn’t bother trying to lift these.

By the time I had got back to the cross trainer it was nearly midnight and as the tech resets at midnight I had a run on to burn as many calories as possible.

943 calories burnt. Wellllll, it was a good efforts!
