My session at the gym starts at on leaving the house. I walk to the gym, it takes about 10 minutes, so why not start the recorder on the watch. It is stopped at the same place as well.
Yesterdays workout was just the same but got interrupted by a request to fit some high level boarding to carry cables in the In-Laws out house. That is also in walking distance. It involves lifting and climbing, so why not. The recorder was started as usual.
I carried my tool kit and my gym kit to the In-Laws. I completed the work. I then walked on to the gym, completed my workout, walked back to the In-Laws, retrieved my tool kit and walked home. There the recorder was stopped.
My workout lasted for 4 hours and 10 minutes. I burnt 1208 calories.

When I got home I felt I had had a good workout. However, I am writing this at 0630 because I have had a poor nights sleep. My left shoulder aches and it is giving me a head ache. I have had to give up sleeping, get up, have something to eat and take pain killers.
I think the shoulder press machine has a lot to do with this. It’s action is very strange. Your hands are behind the line of your shoulders and you lift up and forward of your shoulders. I think I will change to using free weights for this exercise in future.
