Thunder Duck is ready for the first sea trial, almost. I have sheared bolts in an engine mount at address but other than that she is ready. The question is where to go?
An enquiry on the Facebook page “Solent Boating” revealed a very attractive option on Calshot Spit, which is at the mouth of the River Test.
So today we jumped in the truck and rolled down there for a recce. Its great. Parking £1 an hour, plus £15 launch fee.
Now I have to get Duck ready.
