After yesterdays full on building work now its on to day 2.
The day started with pulling the Ethernet cables into the house attic. This proved to be more difficult than it should be, given that I have done this kind of work before. The A frame design on the roof means that there is a good 2 feet of enclosed space between the Eves and the attic floor. To get the cables through this involved having to take tiles off the roof. Done now. Sadly the cables are about 6 feet too short. There will be a joint box in the attic as a result. Not today’s work though.
Plans for today. I need hardware. A new lamp for the patio. The reason is so I can nick the current lamp for the office. It matches the other three and I can’t get that style any more.
Battens! Today I plan to batten the remaining wet wall of the office. This will reduce the material store, ready for the next batch of plaster board.
Results of the day. I have a new lamp, but have yet to fit it. The progress on the office? Well here is the video report.
