Office 9

It’s been a little while, mainly because I have been busy with other things, then with the office, then I’m too tired to do anything else. Actually tonight is sort of a night off as it’s all catching up with me. Not that nothing has been done today. I have collected 50 x 500mm sq carpet tiles from work, where they are refitting our office and all the carpet is being scrapped. This evening was a visit to Wickes for more plaster board. Not as much as I wanted as they were low on stock but it’ll keep me going.

Day off yesterday so I had the afternoon to work on the job. It was a wet day so I couldn’t go and get materials so I elected to use up as much as what I already had. Here is the result –

Progress report from the 09/04

From the last report I have managed to get –

80% of the floor down, just short on bearers to finish the job.

I have put up most of the battens to dry line the far wall, these on polythene that was a recycled mattress bag. I insulated between the battens and fitted the only full size piece of plaster board that I had.

Put up about a third of the external cladding on the partition wall. I realised that the attic flooring was also good for this job, so this was part of the material usage. I still have floor boards and can finish the job.

Here’s a video –

I really need this place up and running. There is so much more to do though.
