Today is mothers day and for me it brought sudden realisation that I no longer have a mother. Sure I felt bad when she passed but following that, nothing. Mother-in-law has bought a Rose plant for Holly and I, to put in our garden to remember her by. That did threaten to invoke an emotional response. Not sure I feel to steady today either.
Well, Mum. Where ever you are. I hope you are happy, warm, pain free and in good company. I will like to believe that is the case as it makes me feel better at least.
