Last night I published the new weather page to my Facebook group. I had fitted a visitor counter to the site and this evening it had gathered about 30 hits. Excellent!!
Exceeeptttt……. Ah! The plan was to take the server down during the summer due to the noise, heat and power consumption, and to let the electricity bill recover. Can’t really do that now. Bummer.
Possibilities. I have another lower power machine. Could I move the website to that? Yes, but then I would have to decommission its current role first and move that across to the existing web server. It was a lot of work to set this up as well. Hummm. Things to ponder on it seems.
